Lose weight with Habit Powered Weight Loss or Weight Loss Coaching
When I started my personal training business back in 2009, little did I know it would eventually lead me to Ada, MI. My original studio was located below the Bistro Bella Vita restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids. My next studio was in Ada, right on Ada Drive.
But let’s go back to the beginning. It didn’t take long for me to learn a few things about the personal training business. First, most people go to personal trainers for weight loss. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that weight loss was either a primary or secondary goal for over 90% of the people I’ve worked with. Second, most people think exercise is the most critical component of weight loss.
As much as I would like to say that you can exercise the pounds away, eating and consistency play much bigger roles. I still advocate for DAILY exercise. So if you want to jog through downtown Ada or lift weights, that’s up to you. But I found that most people are missing the habits required for healthy eating and daily consistency.
I’ve spent over a decade using habits to help clients lose weight. Clients in Ada have learned first hand that habits are the key to behavior change and ultimately weight loss.
I’m sure you can relate to this story. You are all excited to try a new diet or exercise program. The plan is in place and all you have to do is execute. This time it’s going to work! But then a week or two goes by and old habits slide back into place. But nobody in the fitness industry educates on how to implement a new plan, they only tell you what to do.
